Wyoming, Minnesota, April 24, 2014– Xccent Play, with corporate headquarters in Wyoming, Minnesota announced that the company and its partners Rovio, Lappset, and Yalp Interactive joined with the National Park Foundation , the official charity of America’s national parks to bring an interactive dance and movement game to the 2014 White House Easter Egg Roll, held on Monday April 21st.
The outdoor/indoor interactive dance and movement game called “Sona” aligned with this year’s theme of the event, “Hop into Healthy, Swing into Shape,” which encourages children and families to live healthier and more active lifestyles. Young visitors to the event participated in dancing and playing games on the Sona and interacted with Angry Bird characters provided by Rovio, a Finnish game developer and entertainment company based in Finland. Lappset, a commercial playground manufacturer, based in Rovaniemi, Finland signed a partnership with Xccent Play in 2012 to introduce interactive outdoor/indoor recreation equipment into North America.
