Richmond, BC - As our thoughts turn towards the holidays it is the perfect time to reflect on and be grateful for the amazing year that is soon coming to an end. It’s been a year full of proud recognition for all the hard work that WhiteWater employees have dedicated to the company which won an astounding 17 awards for business excellence, product innovation and contributions to amazing international projects. We would like to thank all the people who show up every day with a passion for their work and make what WhiteWater does possible.

“We’ve grown tremendously in the last 5 years, nearly doubled our employee base and changed how we hire. New hires are selected for their attitude, personal attributes and values to contribute to a nurturing and positive corporate culture, and it shows,” explains Coleen Hunter, Director of HR, WhiteWater, “WhiteWater’s success comes from the amazing people within the company innovating, creating and triumphing.”

35 years ago, WhiteWater was the epitome of a small company with barely double digit employee numbers, but much has changed since then as the company was recently honored with the Canada’s Best Managed Companies Award. What hasn’t changed is the feeling of family within WhiteWater. The annual barbeques, spooky Halloween events, and holiday celebrations keeps the family feel within WhiteWater, even as it grew to an international size.

Whether it’s the Dream Design Award for Vana Nava Water Jungle in Thailand or an IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Slideboarding as the industry’s Best New Technology, there’s something for everyone to be proud of.
