The 4 Kids work with glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) and glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) to build cool playgrounds! Exciting, imaginative, entertaining playscapes that appeal to the real playground experts; the kids! Preferred by children hands down over traditional play equipment, their play environments are educational, interactive and created to partner with the classroom. Providing playful learning experiences that are based upon the natural world, their play structures expose children to paleontology, biology, geology and the natural sciences.
The realism of these products comes from The 4 Kids' experience in producing exhibits for museums, such as the Smithsonian and the Perot. Offering play for future scientists, inventors, and engineers, they design and manufacture fully custom play structures.
The 4 Kids design for safety; then inspect and test to make sure that their playgrounds meet and exceed all safety standards and regulations. The 4 Kids follow strict safety guidelines set by the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission), IPEMA (International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association), and ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) in order to ensure that every person that plays on these products is safe, so they can play to enjoy.
